There are many ways a minimally invasive approach reduces our needed chair time. First, there is no need for impressions or scans to fabricate a surgical stent and yet we have the ability to perform the osteotomy in a precise and guided manner. Second, in most cases there is no need for a flap which means no need to place sutures at the end of the implant placement. Third, we don’t have to uncover an implant after healing. And last, we don’t or will rarely have to manage peri-implantitis.
